Spathoglottis plicata

This is one common plant you might be able to find while you stroll along the Botanic Gardens. Although this is a hybrid of the original plant, it is still very striking with its vivid purple with a nice silver lining down the middle of each petal. Exactly what is the name of this hybrid, I guess I will only know if I make another trip down Botanic Gardens again. Credit to my son for taking this picture :)
